Brigette was fortunate enough to be in a 3 year medical academy in high school. While in the academy, she got to job-shadow at Redlands Community Hospital, have a summer internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and take part in cadaver labs. She learned early on that she wanted to be apart of a more natural healing approach for the human body which led her to enroll at United Education Institute for massage therapy. She graduated from United Education Institute in 2007 with “Most Spirited Emblem” of her class.
In 2015, she expanded her knowledge and became certified in massage cupping. She’s on a roll for 2017!! While she has specialized in sports massage the last 10 years - yoga, hockey, baseball, football, running, cycle, rock climbing, CrossFit, weight lifting, etc. - she is going through the process of receiving her state certification in Sports Massage, officially. There are 6 courses she must complete and so far in 2017, she has become certified in Science of Athletics, Injury & Recovery, and Event Protocols, and will be finishing her certification by the end of 2017. In July, she will be attending a fascial movement taping course held by RockTape and become certified in kinesiology taping, as well.
Don’t worry! It’s not just all sports for her! She also enjoys helping office professionals, military, law enforcement officers, nurses, expecting mother’s, and anyone who needs help with achy and sore muscles. Let her find the issues in your tissues to get you back on track!
