Charisse entered the beauty industry in the mid '70s and never looked back. After attending many advanced trainings across the nation led her to becoming the Artistic Director for Great Expectations Salons and an Award Winning Stylist in women's hair cutting competitions.
Throughout her career she has trained with some of the best in the industry. While working in the salon with her own clients she became:
-Regional Educator for Redken 5th Ave. where she taught the science of hair coloring
-American Crew Men's hair cutting, teaching barbering skills and freehand clipper cutting
-Lanza Healing Haircare as a National Ecuador where she taught hair color and hair cutting both on stage and in classroom settings
In 2009, she was diagnosed with breast cancer which forced her to give up traveling while going through treatments. Now a survivor, she joined Tortuga Day Spa and Salon in 2014 and applies all her knowledge of hair to her own clients. Charisse also donates her time to help breast cancer survivors for P.ink (personal ink) and ENJOYING LIFE!!!
