DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
We encourage you to make appointments in advance to ensure preferred treatments or service providers are available.
CAN YOU STILL TAKE ME IF I'M RUNNING LATE?
If you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule. Your service provider will do her/his best to accommodate you. Services start promptly at the time scheduled. Not arriving on time will limit your service time and, as a courtesy to the next client, your service will end on time regardless of when your service began.
To enjoy your spa / salon experience to the fullest, please check in 10 minutes early if it is your first visit. This will give you plenty of time to fill out any forms we may have for you. If you are a returning client, please arrive 5 minutes early so your service can begin on time.
CAN I BRING MY CHILD WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We write this notice with the utmost respect to the parents in our salon and spa. Over half of our staff are parents themselves and understand this can be a sensitive issue. Children are only permitted in the salon or spa area when having a service. For safety reasons, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you have a service. We do not have the facilities to care for children, so we ask that you make arrangements for off-site child care during your appointment. We love children and hope you understand we cannot disturb our clients and stylists with children running around the facility and playing with equipment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our clients as many of them look forward to their salon experience as personal "pampering" time. YOUR UNDERSTANDING IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
WILL YOU REMIND ME OF MY APPOINTMENT?
As a courtesy, we will make every effort to notify you of your appointment date and time. We will send out text message reminders 24 hours before your appointment. If you have requested a phone call for your reminder, you will receive a reminder call 24 hours before your appointment unless your appointment is on a Tuesday in which you will receive 48 hours notice as we are closed Mondays. We know how easy it is to forget an appointment you may have booked weeks ago, however, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times and to inform us if your contact information has changed.
SHOULD I TIP MY SERVICE PROVIDER?
Gratuities at Tortuga Day Spa and Salon are optional and left to your discretion. Gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk for your convenience, or you may add gratuity to your card if you are using a credit / debit card as your method of payment. Please note that gratuities are NOT included with gift cards. Our professionals appreciate your generosity.
